Cost a whopping 600,000 guineas and the son of Too Darn Hot finished a solid third at Lingfield on last month’s debut before a narrow second at Beverley. Solid enough opening mark and should take all the beating.
Michael Dods’ Baldetti was a respectable third on debut at Leicester and took a big step forward to finish second by a narrow margin when upped to 6f at Pontefract last time out. Further progress can’t be ruled out and he can get off the mark if continuing on an upward trajectory.
Cost €80,000 as a yearling and made the fee worthwhile with a debut win at Newbury over 5f in April, the form of which has worked out nicely. Below that level when second at Thirsk but sets a high bar here.

Was far from disgraced given he didn’t settle fully upped further in distance at Goodwood last time, beaten only 3l or so and is a definite player judged on previous efforts. Chance.
Got off the mark in a 1m Musselburgh maiden around this time last season and although not at her best last time at Doncaster, went close off this mark at Ffos Las on penultimate. Player at her best.
Won twice over the minimum last year and although yet to find her best form yet this term, caught the eye at Chester on latest and this is an ease in class.
Daughter of Havana Grey has clearly been saved with handicaps in mind, catching the eye after a slow start when sixth of 11 over 1m at Windsor last month. She should take a giant leap forward here up in trip.
Got back on track when scoring at Yarmouth in June but well below that when stone last at Lingfield. Obviously comes with risks attached but cheekpieces go on now down in grade.
Has her quirks but won on handicap debut over 6f at Epsom 12 days ago, doing best work at the finish, and looks like she is finally finding her feet now. The one to beat.
