Our NAP of the Day is simply the horse we think is our best bet of the day – the one we’re most confident in. Our Horse Racing NAP is never odds on to ensure that we’re also providing you with value tips. While it’s not a “banker” and won’t win 100% of the time, it is the one horse we think is more likely to win than lose. Our horse racing naps of the day have a profitable record and we’d highly recommend backing it if you’re looking for a good chance of picking a winner.

Our NAP is posted at 8.45am every morning so if you’re following our horse naps you can get on the early morning prices.

Where should I back the NAP of the Day?

The odds on our site are the best available price from a major bookmaker in the UK & Ireland at the time the tip was posted. We offer the ability to add the horse to your betslip in just one click with a number of leading bookmakers with the buttons under the horse’s name. We’d recommend going with the best available odds to maximise your value.

How do you pick your Horse Racing naps?

We pick our horse racing NAPS through extensive research; we consider every race being run each day (which can be over 100 in total on busy Saturdays!), the market, strong odds on favourites, overly competitive fields, etc. We utilise a comprehensive notebook system whereby horses who have run well (or poorly) are noted and tracked – combined with watching every race in the UK & Ireland every day this gives us a big headstart compared to having to consider each race from scratch.

Why is it called NAP of the Day?

No one is one hundred percent certain why it’s called a NAP but the most commonly accepted explanation is that it derived from the French game Napoleon. The best hand you can have is called a Napoleon which has then been shortened to “Nap”.

Another term you’ll often see close by to “NAP” is “NB” – this just stands for Next Best and is the second best bet of the day following the NAP.

What other daily horse racing tips do you offer?
