Three or four strong selections picked by our tipsters and backed as one bet.

Southwell (AW)
Escapability silk

Escapability

Analysis

Shaped well on stable debut when 4th in a handicap off 80; drops back into maiden company & should be hard to beat if coping with the surface for the first time.

15:25
Southwell (AW)
Marble Bar silk

Marble Bar

Analysis

Gabrial The Tiger was a winner at Wolverhampton on his penultimate outing and has run well on Fibresand in the past. He is respected, but the Iain Jardine trained MARBLE BAR looks the one to beat this afternoon. This four-year-old appreciated the change in tactics when running out a seven-length winner on his Fibresand debut earlier this month. He has been hiked up twelve pounds for that success but could easily have more to come on this surface, so is backed to gain a follow-up success. Captain Dion made just a modest debut for these connections a fortnight ago but was rated in the 90’s at his peak, so warrants respect if the market speaks favourably.

Southwell (AW)
Liamba silk

Liamba

Analysis

LIAMBA finished a neck behind Gorgeous General here last time out, but David O’Meara’s charge now meets that rival on four-pound better terms, so she is backed to reverse that form, and land the spoils, this afternoon.

Similar to our accumulator, but with more legs and potential "mega" returns.

Market Rasen
Yaa Salaam silk

Yaa Salaam

Analysis

Decent flat form & put in a nice show on hurdles debut at Ffos Las. Improvement expected & the yard have been in excellent form in the past week.

Lingfield (AW)
Gabriela Laura silk

Gabriela Laura

Analysis

Improved last time when 2nd at Kempton & looks set to get off the mark at this level with the yard amongst the winners in the past few days.

Market Rasen
Bubbles Of Gold silk

Bubbles Of Gold

Analysis

Doesn’t look the easiest of rides but put in a pleasing performance last time out. Drops in trip here & with Johnson booked it’s likely a bold bid from the front is expected.

What is an Accumulator bet?

Our accumulator tips (or “acca tips” for short) are a combination of a number of selections which all have to win for the bet to be settled as a winner. For example, if you back a fourfold accumulator, all four of your selections need to finish 1st. The odds of the accumulator are worked out by multiplying the odds of each leg together, meaning that you can win huge amounts of money from just a very small stake!

These examples show a £10 accumulator stake where each selection is just Evens (1/1):

4 selections: £160 returns
6 selections: £640 returns
8 selections: £2,560 returns
10 selections: £10,240 returns!

Adding just one more Evens selection to a ten-fold accumulator doubles the return to over £20,000 – the multiplication effect of the accumulator bet really increases the potential returns!

Our horse racing accumulator tips returns depend on the horse racing fixtures each day; we generally aim for odds of 7/1 to 20/1 for our win accumulator tips, and for around 100/1 for our mega acca tips. We find this gives us the best combination between confident selections and good value returns. Obviously, it is influenced by the racing and tips available; for example, if there is little racing on, we are unlikely to have a mega accumulator tip unless many of the races feature strong odds on favourites which our tipsters think are good bets.

Where should I back the horse racing accumulator tips?

Our betslip returns under the tip details the odds available for a number of leading bookmakers for our accumulator tips at the time the tip was posted. The same is true for the red odds box next to each horse’s name. We would always recommend backing our tips with the best odds available to maximise value.

What other tips do you have?

As well as a our daily win treble or fourfold tips, we have a Lucky 15 which involves 4 selections. These tend to have slightly bigger odds for each individual leg than our accumulator tips so by backing them as a Lucky 15 you are guaranteed a decent return on your stake with just one winner. We also have Each Way Double tips which can pay as much as £1,000 from just a £5 Each Way stake. Click here to see all our horse racing tips in one place on our daily tips page.

How do you pick your horse racing accumulator tips?

As mentioned already, our horse racing accumulator tips tend to be strong favourites. Rather than backing short priced favourites, we find there’s much more value in combining several favourites together to provide much bigger odds than a single would provide. As this betslip shows, short odds favourite combined together can give very profitable returns:

We analyse every race in the UK & Ireland every day and shortlist any horses we think will be suitable for an accumulator. We then go through this shortlist in detail to pick out the best selection every day before updating them on this page at 8.45am.

Can I do the horse racing accumulator tip Each Way?

While we don’t recommend backing our acca tips each way due to the low returns if they all place, it is a commonly used tactic if you want to either back many legs (for example, a 10 fold £10 Each Way accumulator on Evens money returns £61.92 which is still a good return). In an Each Way accumulator bet, if just one horse fails to win, the win part of the accumulator bet is lost and only the place part can win. That means that 9 winners and one 2nd place will pay the same returns as 1 winner and nine 2nd places
