C&D winner who hasn’t been at his best this term but he is down to a very attractive mark and was a solid fifth of 14 in a better class of handicap at Yarmouth when last seen.

Son of Mayson and brother to the classy sprinter Ainsdale. Despite running green, impressed when landing a heavy gamble in a 5f Beverley maiden on debut last month, hitting the line well. Surely more to come.

Improved massively when landing a 6f Windsor nursery when last seen and the runner-up has advertised the form very well by winning twice since. Could still be running off a fair mark here.

Showed a fair amount of ability when third in a 1m novice at Salisbury on debut last month and is entitled to strip fitter here, while there’s a very capable apprentice aboard too.

Won twice this season already, taking advantage of a drop into this class at York in July and his last two efforts have been full of promise, including at Redcar on Saturday. Big player turned out quickly.

Came back from seven months when scoring nicely off 86 at Southwell last month and can only build on that now with the cobwebs blown away. Big contender again.

Gained a first win in a 7f Doncaster handicap in June and was very unlucky in a C&D handicap two weeks ago, unable to get a clear run when travelling well and narrowly denied. Can make amends.
