One of the most unique courses in the country, ‘The Roodee’ is the oldest track still in use in England with racing dating back to the early 16th century. Located in the heart of Chester with viewing available from the inside section of the track, it should be on the bucket list for any Horse Racing fan.
Course: Being just over a mile round, it’s one of the smallest tracks in the country and horses are on the turn throughout. Course form is vital and something we always look for when selecting our tips, nimble horses in particular do well here.

Feature Meeting: The Boodles May Festival is the main meeting at the venue with plenty of key pointers for the rest of the season. Both Oaks and Derby winners in 2017 (Enable and Wings Of Eagles) ran at the meeting.
