Got back into the winner’s enclosure over 7f at Ayr last month and although she has a sketchy profile overall, a repeat effort will see her go very close from 4lb higher.

Nicknamed the Garden Racecourse, racing has been at the North Yorkshire venue since 1900. It’s a great little Flat only course to attend and was voted ‘Best Small Racecourse in the North’ by the Racegoers’ Club in 2003. We have Ripon tips for every meeting, including in-depth analysis!
All our tips from the “Garden Racecourse”, Ripon Racecourse, like the rest of our racing selections, are posted in the evening the day before the meeting, with all tips for the following day up by 7pm, or 9pm if there is evening racing.
Danny Tudhope leads the way in terms of winners at Ripon Racecourse, while Tim Easterby has a multitude of winners at the track and has the most winners as a result.
Over five and six furlongs, higher numbers are generally much preferred, except when the ground is soft then the bias doesn’t exist. In mile races low numbers are better for our tips, due to the tight turn it helps to be on the inside rail, especially for a front runner.
Both of Ripon’s major races take place in August. The Champion Two Years Old Trophy, which was worth £30,000 in 2018. Also the Great St. Wilfred is a brilliant, big field six-furlong handicap which is always fiercely competitive.
