July Tips Review

We started doing the end of month reviews in May 2016, July 2017 is the first one with which we have to sadly report a loss on the month. It’s made more disappointing by the fact that we are coming off the back of four months in a row with at least £1,100 profit. It is the game we are in though, they are animals not machines and we all have bad months. We will bounce back in August for all our loyal followers. Let’s break down July by the numbers.

NAP + £151.70

One of the high points of July, despite the fact we had a bad month overall was the resurgence of the NAP of the day. We were £97 in front halfway through June before going on a poor run to end the month, so it was a delight to land seventeen winners on our best bet of the day over the course of July. We have been tweaking with the selection process and with it now reaping dividends, we will be looking to kick on in August for another month of solid profit.

Singles + £256.30

Another month of profit on the singles, a profitable staple of our daily horse racing tips. That has taken the 2017 total profit on the singles to £4,895 to a £10 tracked stake. Winners in June at 28/1, 25/1, 20/1, 16/1 X2, 14/1 + more backed up by 33/1 and 28/1 places to name but two. That has pushed our overall profit on singles to £9,831 since we began tracking them in May 2016, it’s no surprise that they are fast becoming one of our most popular tips.

Previews + £90.51

It’s six months now since we took on board the suggestion from our followers and began to track previews separately from our single tips. Winners in July such as Lawmaking at 33/1, Nezwaah at 12/1 and Asphan Sam at 10’s led the way for the preview tips. All six months they have been tracked separately the previews have been in profit, giving a runner by runner guide to every horse in the race and a key insight into the thought process behind our tips.

The July Bad

  • Lucky 15 -£26
  • Mega Acca -£135
  • Doubles -£219
  • Win Acca -£222
  • Early Tip -£224

Twelve days of profit during the month on the Lucky 15, but none were big enough to generate an overall profit on the bet. A small loss on the bet during July, but still £771 in front in 2017, we will be looking to get back on track in August. No winners on the Mega Acca in July, but such is the nature of the bet, just a single winner would have yielded a profit given the odds.

Four doubles landed in July but sadly it was the same story as last month, a winner and a place or two places, unable to nail down a pair of winners in the same bet. The win accumulator was the biggest disappointment on the month, a bet that yielded monster profits in February and March has struggled for consistency since. The win acca is still £999.70 in front in 2017 and we did get a £102 acca landed on super Sunday when smashing in a NAP winner, 20/1 single and 8/1 preview all on the same day. The Early Tip has been another disappointment this month, especially given a monster £333 profit on the bet in June
