Pointers For Picking Your Own Chelmsford Racing Tips

Trainer And Jockey Statistics

Luke Morris rides at Chelmsford a huge amount and is top jockey as a result, while Mark Johnston has the highest total of winners for a trainer. You can find the key statistics for Chelmsford above!

Course Characteristics

Chelmsford races around a oval of approximately a mile, and features two chutes to allow for racing at all distances from five furlongs to a mile. The sweeping bends and two furlong straights mean our tips look for galloping types.

Draw Bias

Thanks to the track layout, there is no real draw bias for our tips to consider.

Feature Races

Racing at Chelmsford is of a high standard for All-Weather, with Mark Johnston and Godolphin regularly providing runners. While their feature race in terms of class is the Listed Queen Charlotte Fillies’ Stakes in June, their biggest day is at the start of September. The card in 2017 provided over £200,000 prize money, including the Chelmsford City Cup – an extremely competitive seven-furlong Class 2 handicap.

Chelmsford Betting

To make the most out of your existing accounts, most bookmakers will have weekly offers for their existing customers. You can find these in the promotions section of each specific bookmaker. With plenty of special offers, from odds boosts to enhanced place races each day, there is something for everyone.
