Market Movers: See where the money is going at Uttoxeter today

Uttoxeter Racecourse

We have a fantastic card at Uttoxeter to look forward to today. Adrian Wall guides you through all the market movers at the track.

12.55 – Dusty’s Choice (5/2 > 5/4)

Dusty’s Choice offered plenty of encouragement in his two hurdling starts for John Quinn and he sets the standard on debut for the Fergal O’Brien team.

13.25 – Cremant (100/1 > 50/1)

Now 12/1 with some bookmakers, there’s a bit of a punt taking place on this Neil Mulholland-trained runner who fell in a novice hurdle at Huntingdon when last seen but was making ground when he fell.

13.55 – Dariya (14/1 > 8/1)

Dariya caught the eye in her pipe-opener at Thirsk last month should may be fitter than most in this field on her second start. Charlie Longsdon’s mare doesn’t look particularly well treated but she flourishes at this time of the year.

14:30 – Fleur Du Seuil (8/1 > 5/1)

Dr Richard Newland has a brilliant strike-rate at this track but one would have expected this French import to have preferred more ease in the ground. However, she is in the right hands and has to be respected.

15:00 – Serosevsky (40/1 > 12/1)

Twice a winner for Harry Fry back in the day but has yet to show any real sparkle for new connections. He is 5lb below his last winning mark however, so he is well treated if they can get him back to form.

15:30 – Minellacelebration (12/1 > 6/1)

Katy Price’s runner has a 100% record at this track from two starts and probably should have won when beaten a neck by Burtons Well in veterans event at Doncaster when last seen, idling late on after looking in control after jumping the last.

16:00 – Eclair Des Sablons (20/1 > 11/1)

Runner-up three times from six starts since switched to hurdles, including off this mark at Exeter back in October. Made little impact in a couple of outings since, but this six-year-old still has low mileage on the clock.

16:30 – The Happy Chappy (16/1 > 12/1)

The money is coming for this one but it is hard to see why, bar possibly the fact Bryony Frost is booked to ride. The runner hasn’t won for three years but is off a low mark if they have unlocked the key to him again.

17:05 – Bonnie Golightly (8/1 > 6/1)

The Harry and Dan Skelton combination have a terrific record around here and this Leading Light filly is related to plenty of winners so it would be no surprise to see her very forward on debut for the yard.
