Glorious Goodwood Day 4 Tips

The ITV coverage kicks off with the Group 3 Oak Tree Stakes and the classy One Master holds all the aces. She arrives unpenalised for her previous Group 1 successes and should have too much class for these rivals over her optimum distance.

Winning both his starts since debut, Khaloosy looked Group 1 class in the making when decimating the Britannia Stakes field at Royal Ascot. Stepped up into pattern company for the first time, he’s going to prove very difficult to beat with a repeat of that.

History beckons for Battaash, as he looks to deliver the knockout blow to his rivals. He’s won the King George Stakes for the past three years and loves the Sussex Downs. Winning the King’s Stand on return, opposing him is impossible back at his favourite track.

Going close on both his starts in 2020, Pablo Escobarr ran a brave race over ten furlongs at Newbury last time. A return to this distance should help matters and given the form of the William Haggas team, he should be turning in another likeable performance.
