Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

20/1, 14/1 & 14/1 winning Value Bets recently. View today’s selections below.

5:20 Wolverhampton – My Law – 1pt @ 8/1

MY LAW is yet to win in 10 starts and can’t be backed with excessive confidence, but she has bits and pieces of form that make her interesting. Straight away, we can ignore her latest start when returning from a 114 day layoff on heavy ground at Leicester as those conditions wouldn’t suit at all. She’s better judged on what she was doing previously and I was encouraged by her Lingfield run in June. Back on the All-Weather at 7f with PJ McDonald taking over from inexperienced apprentices, she can go well.

6:50 Wolverhampton – Mrs Hoo – 1pt @ 28/1

Dropped into a Class 6 for the first time, MRS HOO is given a speculative nod of approval! She looked useful as a juvenile before a trio of no-shows this term but two of those came in Class 3 company (last time on unsuitable ground) and the other was over a mile, which may be too short for her these days. She’s on a good mark, 11lbs below her peak rating, and Sean Davis is up again to remove a further 3lbs. The handicapper is giving her a chance and at big odds it’s worth a punt in hope more than expectation.
