Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

James Boyle had a 33/1 winner with Roller on Saturday. View today’s Value Bets below.

7:10 Kempton – Princesse Mathilde – 1pt @ 14/1

Purdey’s Gift makes a lot of appeal as an unexposed type with more to offer but it’s possible tapeta suits him best and his price looks restrictive. PRINCESSE MATHILDE, on the other hand, looks underrated following her British return at Doncaster last month. She was no match for a couple of evidently well-in colts but 1m 2f on heavy ground might not be her ideal conditions at that level. Up in trip and down in grade to a 0-85, with that recent run likely to being her forward, she is capable of better on just her second start for this yard.

7:40 Kempton – Pempie – 1pt @ 22/1

It’s hard to be too enthusiastic about the claims of a lot of these but PEMPIE is overpriced at anything from 20/1 upwards. She had wind surgery in the summer before returning from 121 days off the track when well-beaten over a mile here recently but that is not her trip and some horses need a run to have confidence in their breathing again. Jumping up 3-furlongs in distance will help matters and a first-time tongue-tie may do so as well. If she gets back to the level shown in the middle of this year, a big run would be on the cards.
