Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

James Boyle had a 33/1 winner with Roller on Saturday. View today’s Value Bets below.

3:20 Kempton – Cosmeapolitan – 1pt @ 16/1

Alan King’s horses are in good form at the moment and COSMEAPOLITAN could be a lively outsider returned to the All-Weather after a comeback run over hurdles a couple of weeks ago. He shaped well there, finishing third, and thanks to being out of form (albeit with excuses) when last seen on the level, he’s on a good mark of 93. The race should be run to suit, he has won over C&D before and I don’t feel any of the 3-year-old’s in opposition are thrown-in. At 16/1, a big run could be forthcoming.

6:45 Chelmsford – Al Asef – 1pt @ 12/1

AL ASEF is your typical juvenile winner who got a high mark and then struggled for a long time, but the now 4-year-old has edged to a dangerous mark and shaped with some promise on debut for David Simcock over C&D last month. He could never get close enough to land a meaningful blow but kept on into fifth and hinted at better being likely next time. He has dropped 3lbs, a 5lb claiming apprentice is booked to ride and off a low weight in this 0-75, I’d make him a single-figured price to win it.
