Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

20/1 & 14/1 winning Value Bets recently. View today’s selections below.

5:45 Wolverhampton – Capla Demon – 1pt win @ 11/1

CAPLA DEMON had achieved next to nothing for this yard until dropped to a 0-55 over C&D a couple of weeks ago. Despite being slow into stride, keen early doors and forced to go wide off the final bend, he kept on with promise inside the final furlong and it’s far from impossible that he could take another step forward with that being his first outing for a couple of months. He’s definitely well-treated on old form having won from a stone higher last August and a more prominent early pitch can aid his cause.

6:30 Chelmsford – Onebaba – 1pt win @ 12/1

Being a nicely bred sort hasn’t helped ONEBABA yet as he’s 0-6 but his career best performance so far has come over 7f and he’s running over that trip for the first time since having taken in a couple of mile handicaps before debuting for Tony Carroll’s yard at 6f last month. That race wasn’t run to suit so it’s an easy one to overlook and getting back onto a turning track won’t do any harm at all. The handicapper is giving him a chance and he’s well-drawn too, so hopefully it’s all systems go for a big run.
