Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

Horse Racing tipster James Boyle has picked out 18/1 & 12/1 Value Bets.

5:10 Southwell – Samovar – 1pt win @ 12/1

I’m going to give another chance to SAMOVAR despite the fact that he finished nowhere when selected last time out. That was as a result of missing the break badly, a game-ender over this C&D especially when you’re a prominent racer who needs to be grinding away up top. He’ll need to be quicker to stride this time but the handicapper has relented again, dropping him a further 3lbs to a mark of 70, and if he’s anywhere near his true level then C&D win number four could possibly come his way.

7:45 Southwell – Painted Dream – 1pt win @ 18/1

PAINTED DREAM is a maiden with plenty to prove on her first fibresand start but she’s by Showcasing, who does throw up some winners here, and the filly has posted some solid figures on the All-Weather at Chelmsford, Kempton and Wolverhampton already. Interestingly, she was strong in the betting last time out under an inexperienced apprentice and didn’t shape too badly from a poor racing position. Down into a Class 6 with a fully-fledged rider up and first-time blinkers in use, she might be set to improve.
