Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

Horse Racing tipster James Boyle has 50/1 & 11/1 Value Bets for today’s action.

5:25 Southwell – The Gingerbreadman – 1pt win @ 50/1

THE GINGERBREADMAN might be a bit out of his class zone against a few of these, particularly the favourite, but funny things can happen around Southwell and when the 4-year-old last raced here over C&D, he was an eye-catcher; missing the break as he often does, outpaced in rear and going nowhere fast, he hit the final couple of furlongs strongly before ending up a never-nearer fifth. If he could exit the stalls quicker (this is the risk!) and hold a proper position, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him involved.

7:00 Southwell – Wanaasah – 1pt win @ 11/1

Making her fibresand debut, WANAASAH could go well at double-figured odds. David Loughnane’s filly took her form to a new level when fitted with a hood in August, bolting up by no less than 8-lengths at Wolverhampton in a maiden handicap before a solid second at Kempton, both over this mile-and-a-half trip. 1m 6f didn’t seem to suit the last twice and the winner of the most recent race was thrown-in. Back in distance at a track that favours speed, she can do better (if the removal of the hood isn’t an issue!).
