Trainer whose last 4 runners have all won sends a single runner to Cheltenham

It was superb to see racing at Cheltenham again on Friday and the Saturday card promises to deliver even more. Part of an ITV Racing triple header with Doncaster and Newbury, there are a number of interesting angles on the card and none more so than the flying form of the Kerry Lee team.

Her last four runners have all passed the post in front which is a remarkable run of form for a yard of any size. She also has a very smart record with her chasers at Cheltenham. Nine chasers have been sent to Cheltenham by Lee in the last two seasons for three winners and a level stakes profit of +£18.00.

There are also horse racing tips for Kelso, Galway, Leopardstown and Chelmsford on the site on what is a typically busy Saturday afternoon for the racing fraternity.

2.20 Cheltenham – 888Sport What’s Your Thinking Handicap Chase

Storm Control is the runner in question, a staying chaser who hit form with a vengeance here last autumn. He won at both the November and December meetings here, the latter success from a mark of 137. Now finding himself able to run back off that level once more now.

He was far from disgraced when coming back from a break to finish fifth in the Kim Muir at the Festival. Beaten by a very well punted Mount Ida there. That was from five pounds higher so the handicapper has been generous by dropping him back to his last winning mark.

Given the form that his stable have been in of late, he requires plenty of respect back at a track that has seen him produce some of his best efforts at. Two of his top three career RPR’s have both come at Cheltenham so he looks sure to be in the mix once more.
