Trainer who is +£62.35 at Kempton in 2021 unleashes three juvenile prospects Friday ↗️

Kempton Racecourse

It’s another bumper day of racing on Friday, with five meetings to keep us entertained. The feature meeting is Ascot, which hosts a pair of Grade 2 races, the Kennel Gate and Howden Noel Novices’ Chase. There’s also racing from Uttoxeter, Southwell, Dundalk and Kempton and we’ll have horse racing tips from all five.

One trainer who is having a sterling year at Kempton is Andrew Balding. From 93 runners, he’s posted up 17 winners, and that 18% strike-rate has produced a mammoth level stakes profit of £62.35. That would suggest he’s had plenty of bigger-priced winners and he has three strong chances on Friday; see the details below.

4.15 Kempton – Unibet/British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes

The first of his chances is the daughter of Duke Of Marmalade, Ducal Crown. She’s a half-sister to winners in South Africa, with her Dam being the South African Group 1 winner Ebony Flyer. Balding has a 15% strike-rate with his All-Weather two-year-old horses and any market support would be fascinating.

5.15 Kempton – Unibet New Instant Roulette Maiden Fillies’ Stakes

Another first time starter, Follow That Star is a daughter of Almanzor who makes plenty of appeal on debut. Her Dam was a twelve-furlong winner out of a Listed winning half-sister to two-mile Listed scorer Caucus. The mile looks a good starting point for her career and given the lack of substantial form in this field, she’s an obvious each-way candidate.

5.45 Kempton – Unibet New Instant Roulette Maiden Fillies’ Stakes

In keeping with his other chances on the card, it’s another debutant for Balding. Drusilla is a son of Holy Roman Emperor who cost a whopping 125,000gns as a yearling and is a sister to the Listed-placed Impendor.

She’s also closely related to All-Weather winners Gravity Flow and Alhaajeb. Despite being the biggest price of his chances, she looks to have the biggest chance of making a winning debut on paper.
