Although the form book is a crucial part of picking out winners, the statistics don’t ultimately lie. Although they’re only a guide, trends can lead you to winners and are a great indicator to follow.

While taking a look through the Wednesday cards, I noticed one trainer with a big profit margin at Bangor in the past five seasons. Said trainer has just one runner at the venue on Wednesday, which is very interesting to note.

We’ll have horse racing tips for all five of the meetings on Wednesday, including a NAP of the Day and multiples. Keep reading, however, to find the details on this mysterious trainer!

Johnson’s Daly chance

It’s not been the best summer of Jumps for Henry Daly, but he has a stellar Bangor record in the last five seasons. He holds a 28% strike-rate from forty-three runners, with that equating to a £49.75 profit to level stakes.

Daly is searching for his first winner of the campaign and has a great chance on paper with Whoopsey. She was campaigned highly in bumpers, including a Cheltenham appearance back in April.

She made her hurdling debut back in March, running very green throughout the contest at Wincanton. Although ultimately having no chance, she made late ground under a tender ride.

She’ll have learned plenty from that experience and stepping up to 2m 3f should really suit her. All her best work came late at Wincanton and she should take a big step forward from that introduction.

The booking of Richard Johnson can only be a positive and there’s plenty to like about her chances if she does make natural improvement at this new distance.
