Edelak is going well over hurdles at the moment, completing his hat-trick at Uttoxeter last month, and he looked well in control when falling here last time out. Back into novice company here, Harry Atkins takes 5lb off and he looks like the one to beat.
Whatyouwaitingfor bumped into a progressive sort when third here on his penultimate start and was only denied by half-a-length when last seen. Keeping on well in the closing stages on that occasion, the step back up in trip won’t be an issue for him on that evidence.
Micky Hammond’s Stellarmasterpiece clearly likes it at Stratford, having won each of her last two starts here, and the progressive hurdler looks well set to make it a hat-trick. The handicapper responded with an 8lb rise for her last win and that might not be enough.
Campaign Trail produced a nice performance to score by six lengths at Hereford on his penultimate start and something was amiss next time, so you can put a line through that effort. He deserves a chance to get back on track and this looks like a good opportunity to do so.
Captain Cool has been in good form so far this season and has taken very well to fences. Jennie Candlish’s six-year-old has only been raised 4lb for an impressive victory over course and distance last time out and should still be ahead of the handicapper at the moment.
Roarin’ Success remains unexposed over hurdles, especially in handicap company, and Donald McCain’s mare took a massive step forward to win here last time out. A 4lb rise is very reasonable and she’s entitled to continue to progress.

Located in Stratford-on-Avon in Warwickshire, the majority of racing takes place during the summer months so the ground is often good. So there is rarely extreme going conditions to take into consideration for our tips.
Course: Stratford is a tight, turning track and combining that with the relatively good ground they often get, it suits speedy and nimble horses for our tips. You don’t want to be caught too far back as it’s hard to make up ground late on, owing to the short home straight.
Feature Race: The Foxhunters Champion Hunters’ Chase, taking place in June, is the feature in Stratford’s season. In 2018 Cheltenham and Aintree Festival regulars Wonderful Charm and Balnaslow were in the field.
