The jumps season is really kicking into gear now and there are five televised National Hunt races from Wincanton and Aintree to look forward to. Those include the Grade 2 Elite Hurdle and Rising Stars’ Novices’ Steeple Chase as well as three other competitive handicaps. The action is not just over jumps however as Doncaster hosts the finale to the flat season which includes two Listed races and the big field November Handicap, won last year by Saunter. You can find our ITV Racing Tips on site now!
Ian Williams has been having a fine season and will be looking to repeat his success on this card last year when Reshoun and Saunter gave him a big double. The first-named goes again and is fairly well-fancied for the big race of the day, the November Handicap. Jim Crowley is on board and carries the same colours as he did to success last year so he is an interesting contender. Paul Nicholls has runners elsewhere but has a good chance on the level with Birds Of Prey at Doncaster while Clive Cox looks to round off his season with a big win from Now Children in the same race.

The Elite Hurdle is one of the big races of the year at Wincanton and is hotly contested this year with some exciting hurdlers lining up. Two of last year’s leading juveniles Redicean and We Have A Dream look to beat the older horses while one-time Supreme Novices hope If The Cap Fits will attempt to make a winning return after an absence due to injury. That is not all however as Verdana Blue looks to beat the boys having bolted up last time out. The Rising Stars’ Chase also looks an exciting contest with Bags Groove and Secret Investor tightly matched at the head of the market with Majestic Moll another intriguing contender.

Miss A B O’Connor might not be a household name for most but she is for Harry Fry. The young five-pound claimer has a strike rate of 40% when getting the leg up on the Dorset-based trainer’s horses and rides Litteral Ci for him in the 1.50pm at Wincanton.
