Glorious Goodwood Day 5 Tips
The Stewards’ Cup Consolation kicks off the card and last year’s third Tommy G could go two better twelve months on. He’s six pounds lower this time around and ran with promise at Ayr on his latest outing.
Mark Johnston always enjoys success at Glorious Goodwood and King’s Advice had plenty of success in 2019. This is easier than his recent assignments and he’s fallen to a dangerous mark on his best form, which gives him excellent claims.
Lillie Langtry Stakes Tip
The Group 2 Lillie Langtry may be a small field, but it still promises to be a superb race. Enbihaar was a winner at this level in 2019 and placed at Group 1 level in France to end her season. She ran with promise on return at Newmarket and can only come on for that.
Stewards’ Cup Tip
The big one is the Stewards’ Cup at 3.35pm and Meraas fits the bill for Mark Johnston. He won impressively at Hamilton on his latest outing and this lightly-raced three-year-old is improving rapidly. He’s still on a good mark and this could be a stepping stone to even better things later in the year.
