What a sensational week it has been for myracing! After hitting 31/1 & 8/1 Greyhound winners on Monday we followed that with a 17/2 Win Acca landing on Tuesday. Fast forward to Friday and the Accumulator Tips were paying dividends for followers again, this time over in the States at the Breeders’ Cup and another 31/1 Acca doing the business! But we weren’t done there, on Saturday afternoon we landed a huge 48/1 Mega Odds Acca before hitting another big winner at the Breeders’ Cup – a 15/1 Win Double!

Leg 1 – Feliciana De Vega (2/1) With the yard in good form and the filly looking the part on paper we were confident of a decent start to the Acca. After tracking the leaders early on, Harry Bentley asked her to close at the 2f pole. Travelling powerfully she burst to the front within a matter of yards and soon went clear before being eased for a very impressive 6 length victory.
Leg 2 – Coeur Sublime (1/1) Beat a well enough regarded Aidan O’Brien horse on an impressive debut and was then snapped up for €260k by Gordon Elliott. Racing in mid-division early on he travelled nicely enough under Bryan Cooper before a scruffy jump 4 out. He was then asked the question and went to lead 2 out before being pushed clear. Another mistake at the last half opened the door for Our Legend in 2nd but the winner kept on well and always held his rival on the run.
Leg 3 – Imperial Charm (11/10) This well related Dubawi filly set a decent standard going off her first two starts. We expected the experience to count for a lot and the only slight doubt was about the softer ground. Thankfully those were quickly put to rest as she strided well throughout the race and readily went clear of the field just after the 2f marker and kept on well under David Egan to deservedly get off the mark by 4 1/2 lengths
Leg 4 – Le Patriote (9/4) Boasted some good from including a good win at Ascot last season. Although performances had dipped from there with the drop in class and the stable in good form we fancied Richard Newland’s 6-year-old to get back to winning ways. Stuck out near the back by Charlie Hammond, Le Patriote was always well in touch in a tight field. He began to catch the eye 6 from home and after picking off his rivals he went to led on run-in, before keeping on strongly to fend off the field by 2 lengths. We were one away from landing yet another Acca!
Leg 5 – Deputise (4/5) So it was down to Deputise, a horse that we felt bumped into one on the previous run so with the performance upgraded and the Willie Haggas 2-year-old left on the same mark we were very confident of compensation at Newcastle. He looked keen early on and Paul Hanagan did well to get him as settled as he did. Once urged along the horse started to make good headway 1f out and was ridden to lead in the last 100 yards to LAND THE 48/1 MEGA ACCA!
Leg 1 – Sistercharlie (5/1) – The ex-French trained mare filly in with outstanding claims and with her yard firing on all cylinders it was surprising to see her drift to 5/1 before the off, especially with Wild Illusion proving difficult to handle pre-race. The Chad Brown trained filly had to negotiate a tricky run with a very slack early pace causing plenty of traffic problems. Despite having to overcome the snail-pace which didn’t suit at all, she showed her true class in spades under a confident John Velazquez, coming with an irresistible challenge to beat Wild Illusion right on the line.
Leg 2 – Monomoy Girl (9/4) – Another filly who oozes class despite having sometimes proved a tricky ride in the past. Florent Geroux took a lovely early position on his mount, he got her right on the pace and always in the firing line. She looked well in command 3 furlongs out taking the lead outright hard on the steel, she continued to look in command and despite the jockey having to coax and kid without using the whip she stayed on well to take the victory. £195 for a£10 stake, as well our Betway Boost – WOOOOOOOOOSH!
