45/1 & 13/1 Accas Landed!

Southwell Trainer wins

45/1 Mega Acca & 13/1 Greyhound Acca Landed!

June was a great month for our Accumulators bets with four winning horse Accas including 73/1, 23/1 and 20/1 and three Greyhound Accas landing at 48/1, 12/1 and 11/1! We’ve started July in the same form after landing another two on Monday evening, this time at 45/1 on the horses and 13/1 on the greyhounds!

Who Won For Our Horse Racing Acca?

Leg 1 – BLOWN BY WIND (4/9) – Mark Johnston’s runner made the notebook at Ascot last time out having been drawn on the wrong side of the track when beaten 6.5 lengths by Calyx in the Coventry Stakes. We felt it was a fantastic opportunity for him to add another win to his name in a moderate contest and so it proved. Franny Norton kept it simple and made all, keeping on well under pressure in the final furlong for a comfortable start to the Mega Acca.

Leg 2 – I BELIEVE IN YOU (7/4) – Our next selection got off the mark at Hamilton over the same distance and with a handy five pounds taken off thanks to Jamie Gormley’s claim he was certainly the one to beat. With another his young jockey getting a nice position early on the stands side rail he made all and was driven clear 1f out before running on for an impressive 4.5 length victory.

Leg 3 – ELEGIAC (7/4) – Mark Johnston’s colt ran tenth in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot on handicap debut last week but was in much calmer waters yesterday and looked to be well suited by conditions. After being driven a couple of furlongs from home and finding well for pressure close to the line he went on to score nicely, all three winners so far making all and winning well.

Leg 4 – TEAM DECISION (9/4) – Next up was the Saeed bin Suroor trained Team Decision who broke his maiden tag at the third attempt when scoring at Nottingham last time out. On handicap debut the step up in trip seemed to suit with Oisin Murphy tracking the leader before delivering his challenge before the furlong pole. Despite pulling left nearing the line the race was already wrapped up, beating market rival Jus Pires by a cosy 1.25 lengths. We were one away from landing the Acca!

Leg 5 – HUMBOLT CURRENT (5/4) – It all rested on the Willie Haggas trained Humbolt Current, our evening best bet. In what turned out to be a competitive novice event James Doyle tracked the leaders but his mount looked to be outpaced at the halfway point. Eventually the penny dropped and the horse began to respond for his pilot and began to close at the two marker. In a bunch finish Humbolt was firmly driven and kept on to lead in the dying strides! 45/1 MEGA ACCA LANDED!

Who Won For Our Greyhound Acca?

In keeping with the form of the horse racing tips our greyhounds were also delighting followers! Our four-leg accumulator at Nottingham began with Newinn Jet who simply blew away the opposition, advised at 11/8. Another Newinn, this time Newinn Missile, was to follow that to leave us with just the NAP and Next Best to land the Acca. Courts Ad Lee was our best bet of the night and did not disappoint in routing the field and leaving us just one away! Again we were left to sweat as Newlawn Adam was called in a photo finish with the Next Best getting the verdict by a nose – another acca landed!
