How We Did It

The first leg in our Win Acca was the Dan Skelton trained Aintree My Dream who was running at Warwick. Bridget Andrews took the ride and from the outset it was clear she was looking to turn the race into a real test. Happy to bowl along in front, Aintree My Dream kept finding and eventually ran out a comfortable 12-length winner to get our Win Acca off to a fantastic start!

The second leg of the Acca was also our Daily NAP and it proved to be a double BOOM as My Target landed the odds at Lingfield. Given a cracking ride by Connor Beasley, My Target picked up impressively in the final furlong to win by a cosy length and three-quarters. NAP landed and we were in touching distance of another Acca!

All eyes turned to the 4.15pm at Lingfield as we looked to the Jeremy Gask trained Born To Finish to bring the Acca home. Slow away and seemingly lacking pace into the straight, it looked like we were set for a final leg letdown before jockey Martin Lane managed to navigate a route up the far rail to seal victory. KABOOOOOOOM – £161 Acca landed!
