Who Won For Us?

LEG #1 – The Acca kicked off with Royal Ascot flop NATALIE’S JOY (11/8) who was looking to get back to winning ways at Newbury. It’s certainly not rare for a Mark Johnston horse to bounce straight back with a win after a poor run and that was certainly the case here. The filly made all in fine style under a top Frankie Dettori ride to bring home the first leg of the bet!

LEG #2 – SURYA (6/4) was next up at Haydock, a horse that had bolted up by 4 lengths on his previous run! He took the lead around 3 furlongs out and was travelling like a dream while the others were being scrubbed along, it didn’t quite end up being as cosy from there as it looked like it was going to be though. Jockey Nicky Mackay started asking for an effort and the response wasn’t immediate meaning the others had a chance to close, thankfully he didn’t cause us too much of a sweat as there was enough left in the reserves for him to pull out more and gain us the win.

LEG #3 – So it was all down to GRAVINA (2/1) at Newmarket to land us the Acca. She went on the drift before the off but in the end all that meant was more winnings! Ryan Moore sent her out of the stalls to attack and hit the front, from there she never saw a rival. It was a fairly comfortable victory in the end under a great ride, the filly stayed on well in the closing stages to make all and land us the 16/1 Acca! Get in!
