It was a top class weekend for our tips with two accumulators landing for £81.61 and £84.96 returns, and we continued our excellent run with an even bigger tip landing – this time for £155.25!

How We Did It

We kicked off with Postponed live on Channel 4, tipped at 7/4. Huge odds for the class horse in the field in our opinion and he proved us right, storming home! Over to Chepstow for leg 2, and Vercingetorix, a horse who never quite made it on the jumps scene despite showing promise as a 4 year old. Now older and wiser, he’d plummeted in the weights – his opening rating of 93 being based off the form he showed as a 3 year old in Listed races in France, but after several poor runs he was down to a rating of 75. Dropped into Class 5 company, and with form in the book in more competitive races off much higher weights, he was well backed and won by a head to take us onto the final leg of the Acca.

That final leg was the unraced Potters Story in the Worcester National Hunt Flat Race for Sean Bown. A nicely bred type with plenty of winners in his pedigree, he didn’t appear to have too much to beat aside from Wave Dancer who was bred for the flat but never made it to the track as a younger horse. A slowly run race, Sean Bowen sent him to join the leader a long way out and when he asked him for his effort he really turned it on, winning comfortably by 11 lengths and landing our acca easily! There was a 15p Rule 4 on this leg which totalled the final returns to a huge £155.25 off a £10 stake!
