13/1 & 7/1 Acca Winners!

Aca Winner Flat

What a start we have had to 2019 here at myracing! Fresh off the back of our 16/1 and 14/1 Acca Winners on Wednesday night, we kept the ball rolling on Saturday evening landing a lovely 13/1 EVENING ACCA and 7/1 GREYHOUND ACCA! We have a Win Acca and Mega Acca EVERY day and Sunday’s Acca selections are on-site HERE along with all our Free Horse Racing Tips!

How We Landed The Win Acca

Leg 1 – Kareena Kapoor @ 8/11

Our Evening Acca kicked off with the Simon Crisford trained Kareena Kapoor at Newcastle. With some excellent form in the book, we were confident that the long trip north would pay off for connections and we were proved correct! She kicked for home two furlongs out and quickly put daylight between her and her rivals. Idling in front, she was kept up to her work by Joe Fanning and ran out a half-length winner although was never in danger of being caught, she’s certainly a filly to keep a close eye on in the coming months!

Leg 2 – Tough Remedy @ 11/8

Our Evening Best Bet was up next and we were excited to see Tough Remedy making the switch back to the Tapeta surface having clearly not enjoyed the Polytrack last time out. Slow from the stalls, PJ McDonald was happy to track the leaders and asked the horse to go and win the race two furlongs out. Showing a nice turn of foot, Tough Remedy reeled in both Ballard Down and Azzeccagarbugli to take victory despite McDonald dropping the reins in the final few yards. Evening Best Bet landed and we were one leg away from another Acca winner!

Leg 3 – Athollblair Boy @ 5/2

It was left to Athollblair Boy and Faye McManoman to hopefully land our Saturday Evening Win Acca. A three times course and distance winner, we were expecting another bold showing from the Nigel Tinkler six-year-old who had put in an excellent showing when 3rd last time out. McManoman was happy to hold up her mount at the rear of the field before making her move in the final furlong. Idling when hitting the front we had an anxious few seconds as Duke Cosimo flew home but Athollblair Boy held on to take the win and land our 13/1 Evening Win Acca!

How We Landed The Greyhound Acca

Leg 1 – Ballynabee Lucy @ 1/2

Lucy was well supported eventually being sent off at 1/3. She showed excellent early pace to grab the lead and wasn’t for catching.

Leg 2 – Swift Tarquin @ 5/4

Leg 2 of the Acca so our Greyhound NAP in action with Swift Tarquin over the 714m distance. Slow away, Tarquin showed great strength to survive a first bend bump and he quickly pulled clear of the field to run out an easy winner and land the NAP and put us within touching distance of another Acca winner.

Leg 3 – Droopys Edge @ 11/8

Droopys Edge was our Greyhound Next Best and like the first two legs of the Acca he too was well supported in the betting, going off at Even money. From the three box, he pinged the lids and lead the field into the first bend. Quickly powering away he eventually ran out a four and a half lengths winner to land the Next Best and our 7/1 Greyhound Acca – OI OI!
