11/1 Acca Winner – Our 8th on Horse Racing this year!

After smashing in a huge THIRTEEN WINNING ACCAS across our Horse Racing, Greyhound, Aussie & American tips in January, it didn’t take us long to pick up that winning thread in February as we landed a 11/1 ITV Win Acca on Saturday! It continues a fantastic start to the year on our selections as a whole and hopefully we can keep this level of form up for the rest of the year. How We Did It

LEG #1 – The first leg came in a competitive renewal of the Scilly Isles Novices’ Chase at Sandown. DEFI DU SEUIL (7/2) was our selection and he was aiming for revenge on Lostintranslation after finishing 2nd to him at Cheltenham on New Years Day. He met him on 3lbs better terms today however and that played a part in him reversing the form and coming out on top. In a thrilling finish, Defi Du Seuil stayed on the best after a good jump at the last and that was leg one of the Acca secured!

LEG #2 – Over at Leopardstown in the Dublin Chase, MIN (8/13) made light work of landing his short odds but the whole day was overshadowed by what happened in the race. Sadly the 2017 Queen Mother Champion Chase winner Special Tiara went wrong on the flat and he was pulled up before the first, devastatingly he had to be put down. He was top talent and a brilliant from-running horse – Thanks for the memories Special Tiara, RIP.

LEG #3 – Our final leg came from Lingfield in the Winter Derby Trial in the shape of WISSAHICKON (8/11 ITV Best Bet). The ultra-progressive colt was aiming for his 4th win in a row and the 7th of his career in just nine starts, and thankfully for us, that’s exactly what he got! It was a great ride from Frankie Dettori as early in the straight the horse got hemmed in on the rail by two horses with nowhere to go. Frankie made the call to switch him to the outside and the horse comfortably breezed by them both without hardly being asked a question, coasting towards the line on the bridle – 11/1 ITV WIN ACCA LANDED!
