Jango Baie came out on top in the 2025 Arkle, despite being badly outpaced throughout, and he has developed into a very smart staying chaser this term. Nicky Henderson’s gelding wasn’t beaten far when fourth in the King George and ran a cracker to finish second behind Gaelic Warrior in the Gold Cup. He looks like the one to beat on that form and provided he’s well after his Cheltenham exertions, victory could well be on the cards.
