Irish trainer sends one horse on the 900-mile round trip to Carlisle on Sunday

Very hard to oppose THOMAS HOBSON here, a winner at the meeting last season in the Ascot Stakes, he was runner-up in this contest just four days later. He hasn’t been seen since the Melbourne Cup but he will be arriving off the back of plenty of work at home. Count Octave and Glencadam Glory are both threats on the ratings but neither has proved their stamina for anything like this far so perhaps the quirky Pallasator will prove to be his biggest foe.
