'You couldn't back him at that price' - Adrian Wall is taking on Marine Nationale at Naas

A fascinating renewal of this Grade 1 won in the past by the likes of Vautour and Nichols Canyon. Pallasator was rated as highly as 113 on the flat, he has improved with every run since sent hurdling and had plenty of these rivals in behind when winning a Grade 2 hurdle at Fairyhouse earlier this month. If he continues his improvement he would stand good claims in this field, but he could not win at the top table on the flat and the value here is DEBUCHET who was second to the ill-fated Fayonagh in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham last season. He has struggled to replicate that form over hurdles to date but the return to the better ground on offer here will definitely suit him, as will the step up to two and a half miles.
