Yard boasting 4-7 record in the last two weeks have sole runner on Monday 📈

A brand new week kicks off on Monday with four meetings. Dominated by jumps action, Chepstow, Punchestown and Fakenham start off the day, before Wolverhampton takes over for a night on the All-Weather. We’ll have horse racing tips for all the action, including a NAP of the Day and Lucky 15 tips.

One yard coming into red-hot form is Simon & Ed Crisford. The Suffolk-based yard have won with four of their last seven runners, successful at prices of 5-2, 11-8, 2-1 and 8-13. The duo have just one runner on Monday and it’s at a similar price, looking to have very strong claims. Find out all the details below!

7.00 Wolverhampton – Betway Maiden Stakes

A son of Shamardal, Base Note has an eye-catching pedigree and will attempt to make it third-time lucky for the Crisfords. He’s a full brother to All-Weather and Listed winner Pelerin, he’s also a half-brother to three winners, including Masarah and Road To Dubai.

He made his debut at Kempton in December, where he went off at just 9-2. Failing to live up to market expectations, he posted an RPR of just 52 when finishing ninth of 10, slowly away and running very green throughout. Unsurprisingly, he improved markedly for his debut, finishing second at Wolverhampton last time.

Making plenty of late ground, he was beaten just a length and an extra furlong today will clearly help matters. The yard, as previously referenced, are in much better form now and he holds the experience edge over all of his rivals. He can surely put that to good use today and ridden by Kieran O’Neill, this looks to be a very good opportunity.
