What a day it was for the first episode of our Daily Best Backed horses blog – 4 winners from 5 selections! We swept the board at Exeter with 3 winners in successive races; Smarty Wild obliging at 9/4 followed by Truckers Lodge and Danny Whizzbang who both came home at 3/1! The final horse ran much further north at Newcastle and, despite a drift out to 2/1, gave us another winner on a stellar first day which yielded a profit of 9.25 points!
