Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

Horse Racing tipster James Boyle has picked out two Value Bets for Wednesday’s action.

8:00 Kempton – Running Cloud – 1pt win @ 14/1

RUNNING CLOUD has lost each of his last twenty starts on the flat since making a winning debut as a juvenile and comes with a bit of a wealth warning as a result. However, he has put some good efforts in the book for Alan King and it might be worth forgiving his latest effort over C&D when he blew the start by further than usual. Another 2lb drop in the weights helps matters and quotes between 12-14/1 are on the generous side for a horse who can travel really well when things pan out for him.

8:30 Kempton – Shepherd’s Purse – 1pt win @ 9/1

SHEPHERD’S PURSE is a repeat selection having been put up in the column two starts ago at Beverley, where he shaped better than the bare result and would have been closer to the principles with a proper run through. He posted a similar effort at Carlisle when returned to this 6f trip but now gets to drop in grade to a 0-60 and that could do the trick. The race should be run to suit, he is well drawn in stall 4 and Tom Marquand is a better rider than he’s used to having on board. I think he’ll go close, with some luck.
