Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

Our Racing tipster James Boyle has landed 14/1, 8/1 & 7/1 winners in the past week.

2:10 Chester – Whitefountainfairy – 1pt win @ 9/1

Dropping into a Class 4 handicap for the first time, WHITEFOUNTAINFAIRY can go well. The 4-year-old only has a novice win to her name since joining Andrew Balding’s yard but shaped with major promise when faced with soft ground for the first time at Haydock earlier this month and could well have won with more luck when trying to muster a challenge. Having went fine over C&D on her sole run since, better is hoped for with the cut underfoot. She’s definitely rated to strike at this level soon.

3:15 Haydock – Camacho Chief – 1pt win @ 8/1

CAMACHO CHIEF wants to sit off a hard early tempo on soft ground and with Acclaim The Nation next door, Hyperfocus not a million miles away and some other speedy sorts to press them on, that gallop should present itself. He also arrives on the back of a good effort over C&D, in which he moved really well before failing to get home but this time he’ll have more cover and less weight so hopefully that can equal an improved effort. There are no pre-race excuses and he looks a couple of points too big.

3:20 Chester – Restorer – 2pts win @ 10/3

Recent form figures would suggest that RESTORER should not be a confident bet but between ground, trip and class issues, sometimes all together at once, it’s easy to see why the formerly 106-rated 7-year-old has struggled to make an impact. Today, he drops back in trip on ground he’ll love and is actually running in a handicap worth less than £10k for the first time ever. If the fire still burns, as he suggested it did at Ascot last month, he could pick these up and carry them off a mark of 88. Huge chance.

3:40 Newmarket – Alternative Fact – 1pt win @ 66/1

ALTERNATIVE FACT is a speculative shout, of course, but plenty of big priced runners hit the frame in this race and the odd one pops up to win! Ed Dunlop’s charge has plenty of talent, as he managed to show when third at Sandown in June, and off a mark of 88 he’s almost a stone below what he began last season running from. A massive field in which he can be covered up could be absolutely ideal and given recent hints that peak form isn’t far off being found, I’ll gamble on the 66’s being worth a go!
