We’ve been going through Tuesday’s racing with a fine-tooth comb, looking for the key statistics and trends for the packed day. Wolverhampton is where we ended up, as we’ve found a trainer who can boast of an enormous profit at the venue in the last five years! He has just one runner there on Tuesday, adding to the intrigue.

All our horse racing tips on site now, but you can find all the details on his runner below!

The King of Wolves!

Following Tom Dascombe has been an extremely profitable exercise at Wolverhampton in the last five years. He’s sent 394 runners there, with 64 returning to the winner’s enclosure. That 16% strike-rate has returned a remarkable profit of £119.70 to level stakes!

Dascombe is on the hot-list at present, having sent out seven winners from his last 42 runners. He sends just a single horse to Wolves on Tuesday, and all the details are below.

3.25 – Rockets Red Glare

Costing 45,000 euros as yearling, Rockets Red Glare has run a pair of good races in defeat at Wolverhampton so far. Both of those runs have come over seven furlongs, beaten just under two lengths on debut. He really got the hang of things in the closing stages after showing experience throughout, sticking on determinedly in the closing stages.

He still looked green on his second start, travelling well into the contest but ultimately unable to contend with some speedier rivals in the straight. Today’s step up to the mile should really suit on that basis, as he’s looked in need of a test.

That is backed up by his breeding, with lots of stamina on his dam’s side of the family. He sets the standard of those with experience and given the form of the yard, both at the venue and in recent weeks, he has to be given a huge chance under Richard Kingscote.
