‘This Group 3 winner can’t be ignored’ – 25/1, 20/1 and 16/1 ITV Outsiders on Friday

There’s plenty happening on Friday, with the Punchestown Festival continuing and Newmarket’s three-day Guineas Festival kicking off. The ITV cameras will be out once again and they are covering seven races live from Newmarket and Goodwood.

With that in mind, Liam Bramall is back with three more outsiders to follow, after selecting a 20/1 winner a couple of weeks ago. Friday’s selections include a Group 3 winner running in a Listed race that need to be considered. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

2.20 Newmarket

The Waco Kid (20/1, betfred) is the highest rated runner in the field, yet is available at substantial odds. This Group 3 winner can’t be ignored, having been dropped into Listed company, and the return to 7f could suit too. Bolting up in the Tattersalls Stakes over course and distance last term, that form surely puts him bang in the mix and he’s entitled to improve for his run in the Craven Stakes last time out.

3.10 Goodwood

Sea Just In Time (16/1, bet365) made a mockery of her rivals when winning a Newmarket maiden last May. She got off to a slow start and showed signs of greenness but still scored by the best part of five lengths. Making her debut for David O’Meara here, it’s highly likely that the best is yet to come.

3.30 Newmarket

Tarkhan (25/1, betfred) makes his British debut here, having come over from Germany, and there’s loads to like about his form. He was an impressive winner over this trip at Dresden last year and followed up in Listed company at Munich. Whilst it’s hard to know what to make of this mark, it could be dangerous to overlook him.
