Saturday’s ITV Best Backed Horses – 9th March 2019

Yesterday we kept our 100% record of profit going as Friday became our fourth straight day of finishing in the plus column! With six selections yesterday we managed to land 50% of them. The team of Nicky Henderson and Nico de Boinville got us underway with the first selection. Precious Cargo looked keen enough with de Boinville holding him up early doors. The pair stalked the leaders taking it up two out and driving clear at the last. Next up, Divine Messenger, was another to sit just off the pace before leading approaching the furlong pole and being pushed right out to score by just shy of two lengths.
After three blanks we were at Newcastle for the final best backed horse in the last race of the day where Decision Maker was backed in from the 15/8 advised price to a strong odds on favourite. The money wasn’t misplaced with the selection always travelling strongly and running out a comfortable winner by 1.5 lengths.
