Saturday TV Stats – 1500/1 Cracker Acca

Trends Analysis: Saturday 17th Aug 2019

Plenty more ITV Racing action this weekend as the cameras head to Newbury, Ripon and Newmarket.

Up at Ripon, it their biggest race day on the calendar with the Great St Wilfrid the feature – a race that last year’s victor – Gunmetal – will looking to become the first back-to-back winner since 2012.

Then at Newbury, we’ve four LIVE races that include the Unibet Geoffrey Freer Stakes, plus the Unibet Hungerford Stakes. Did you know, fourteen of the last seventeen Hungerford Stakes winners were aged three or four, while we’ve also got last year’s winner – Sir Dancelot – in the race again.

The final TV race is at Newmarket and we should be in for a spectacle. Why? It’s a race for grey horses only!

We’ll be highlighting our TOP FOUR trends to look for from the ITV Racing and putting them in a big-priced ‘Cracker Acca’ – plus, giving you the ‘best of the rest’ trends from around the other tracks this Saturday.

Plus – don’t forget, you can also get more help finding the winner for all this Saturday’s races on our Free Horse Racing Tips page.

TV Stats ‘1,500/1 Cracker Acca’

(Pays £3,000 for a £2 stake)

1.40 Doncaster: The William Haggas yard boast a decent 32% record with their two-year-olds at the track so their STARS IN THE SKY catches the eye here.

Should improve a lot from her debut fifth at Ascot and breeding suggests this step up to a mile is a good move.

2.05 Ripon: With the horse from stall twenty having won two of the last three runnings then AIRGLOW is worth an interest here.

He ended last season on a high and should also strip a lot fitter after a recent run at Hamilton as that came off a long break.

3.35 Newbury: Last year’s Hungerford Stakes winner – SIR DANCEALOT – is back for more. He’s taken exactly the same route as last, having won the same Glorious Goodwood race so everything looks in place for the double/double.

5.05 Newmarket: Despite this race being run over 1m4f, it’s interesting that we’ve seen six of the last eight winners come from stall three.

CUBSWIN will be the latest horse to  try and uphold that trend and having won well over hurdles last time out then is back on the flat in great heart.
