Saturday Trends (2nd February 2019)

Lingfield Park Racecourse

With the snow and freezing weather sweeping the country the outlook for any jumps racing on the domestic front looks pretty bleak, with Musselburgh, Sandown and Wetherby, who are all due to stage ITV races, reporting problems.

Wetherby and Musselburgh are now in fact abandoned, but, on a plus, Sandown are a lot more hopeful than they were a few days ago – fingers crossed!

As always in these situations, the All-Weather tracks come to the rescue and that will be the case again on Saturday with Lingfield, Kempton and a new fixture at Chelmsford, flying the flag.

Oh, don’t forget we’ve also top action over in Ireland with the opening day of the Dublin Racing Festival from Leopardstown – with plenty of Cheltenham Festival pointers and clues on offer.

So, to help you through the cards we’ve picked some quickfire standout stats and trends that are certainly worth paying attention too.

Plus, you can get more help finding the winner for all this Saturday’s races on our Free Horse Racing Tips page.
