How We Did It

Leg #1 – KORDIA (12/5) was our first leg down under. The Godolphin juvenile looked a likely type on paper but it was nearly all over before it even really started after a tardy start left our acca in jeopardy, but our selection was on the receiving end of a perfectly judged ride to get up in the dying strides.

Leg #2 – VEGA ONE (19/20 Next Best) was up to bring home the middle leg and the opening leg of our 5/2 NAP/NB Double. Blake Shinn kept it nice and uncomplicated and was rewarded with a nice success. Another sweat on!

Leg #3 – SPIRITUAL PURSUIT (21/20 NAP) After some tough races at the start of his career, he’s more suited to this grade and followed his last time out win with another here, getting up in the dying strides to land the 12/1 accumulator!
