Nigel Twiston-Davies – My Runners 4th June 2016

A bit of a quiet spell in the National Hunt season but Nigel reports all is ticking over nicely at home, he is very pleased with the newcomers he purchased at the sales, and the winners will keep coming!

Nigel’s Charity Bet

November Storm 5.35pm Worcester 3/1

If he wins, a donation of £100.00 will be sent to the Injured Jockeys Fund.

Saturday

Yanmare 1.45pm Worcester

“Sorry to say that he does look totally outclassed today and a win or even a place looks pretty unlikely in a very decent field. We are basically looking to get him a handicap mark over fences and then we can try and look for a race for him later in the season”

Novemberstorm 3.30pm Worcester

“I quite like this son of September Storm and am hoping for a decent run here. He certainly won’t disgrace himself and I did consider him for the charity bet, but the truth is there are a few too many unknowns in the race and we just don’t know how good they are. I’m confident mine will win races, but I can’t be sure today will be the first of them.”

Wicked Willy 5.35pm Worcester

“This race has split in to two divisions and it looks like we are lumbered with the harder of the pair. That said, he has done nothing wrong, is working and and schooling really well, and I am hoping for a really good run this afternoon.”
