Nigel Twiston-Davies – My Runners 18th September

Nigel told us this morning about his two horses for Sunday afternoon and also that he hopes to be sending Ballyandy over hurdles and Flying Angel over fences very shortly – and we persuaded him to let us call him about his Perth runners next week when he hopes to have a strong raiding party, weather and going permitting as always.

Sunday’s Runners

Templehills 1.40pm Uttoxeter

“He is going nicely at home and continues to school well after his hurdling debut at Ffos Las, and I think he will be much happier stepped up to this trip. I can’t be overly confident with some pretty decent horses in opposition but I’ll be disappointed if he doesn’t run well.”

Better Days 2.10pm Uttoxeter

“He sits at the top of the handicap this afternoon so is one of the better horses in the race but it’s asking a lot to carry eleven stone twelve though Sam rides which is always a good thing. He is no good thing but I wouldn’t be running him if I didn’t think he had a chance, though I’d be happy with a place in this competitive field.”
