Nigel Twiston-Davies – My Runners 15th October 2016

We spoke to Nigel this morning as he was about to go and visit his son Sam in hospital – he reports he is as well as can be expected in the circumstances and we passed on yours and our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Saturday’s Runners

One Forty Seven 1.05pm Market Rasen

“He won his only point to point so far before arriving here and I like him a lot. He is a chaser in the making but I have got him as fit as I can and although his rivals are unexposed and we don’t know what we are up against, I think he is a pretty decent sort.”

Southport 1.35pm Market Rasen

“Another point to pointer and another I quite like. He will be better over further and over fences in time but he won’t disgrace himself today either.”

Bendomingo 1.50pm Ffos Las

“I’m stepping him back up in trip this afternoon and I am hopeful it will bring about some improvement. He seems plenty high enough in the weights to me but no more than he deserves and I am more hopeful than I am confident.”

Woodfort 5.20pm Ffos Las

“He ran really well at Perth on ground that was perhaps too soft for him and I am really hoping we get some better ground this afternoon. You never really know what you are up against in these races but he is a decent horse and I am expecting a big run from him here.”
