The racing this festive season is going to be something special! We have so many top races to look forward too, including the King George and the Welsh Grand National. We haven’t even mentioned the Grade 1 racing in Ireland either!
We’ll be focusing on Boxing Day for this article, however, which hosts no less than four Grade 1 races. We’ll have horse racing tips and ITV Racing tips for all the top races this Boxing Day.
With so much great racing in store, it’s very easy to build up an accumulator for Boxing Day. We’ve taken that one step further, however, and have put together a Boxing Day Millionaire Acca. It’s going to take plenty of luck and some festive cheer, but there’s something magical about the holidays! Please remember, the max payout for bet365 is £1,000,000, so stake accordingly!
Had three runs for Joseph O’Brien last season over hurdles, including a second to Albert Bartlett winner Monkfish. Making his stable, chasing and seasonal debut when third at Aintree last time and if building on that, he’ll be tough to beat.
Returned with a dominant victory at Wetherby earlier this month and a five-pound rise is negated by Jack Andrews’ seven-pound claim. Should go back to back as a result.
Has been mightily impressive over fences thus far, winning both his starts with bold jumping performances. Faces several rivals who will want a true test and he can relish this sharper test better than most, having won over both 2m 3f and three miles.
Grade 1 winner over hurdles who is unbeaten in two chasing starts, winning a Grade 2 at Punchestown in comfortable fashion last month. Holds Darver Star on that form and should prove tough to beat.
Has won two of his four starts since switching to the All-Weather, including a C&D success. Beaten a short-head off two pounds lower last time and should make amends on this occasion.
Won this race twelve months ago on the way to a Champion Hurdle victory. Better than ever when landing the Fighting Fifth on return and she’s impossible to oppose.
Top novice last season who made an eye-catching chasing debut at Punchestown, winning as he liked despite some errors. Those can be ironed out with experience and he sets a daunting standard.
Fell just short of a hat-trick after a brilliant fourth in a higher grade at Aintree last time. Very lightly-raced over hurdles and Lilly Pinchin’s five-pound claim will help matters. Can improve for the step up in distance and score again.
Thrashed Cyrname to win this race twelve months ago and can repeat the feat here. Ran a huge race when second in the Betfair Chase on return and will come on plenty for that. Sets the standard and can collar his stablemate late once again.
Has done very little wrong this season and was a very good second over hurdles at Clonmel last time. Races off the same rating back over fences and should be rewarded for his consistency.
Arrives on a hat-trick, winning both his starts since joining this yard. Up four pounds for his latest success, but remains unexposed for these connections and needs plenty of respect.
Well-bred and made a very promising debut at Ascot in an above-average bumper. Sets a daunting standard and should make it second-time lucky for his formidable yard.
