Cheltenham provided our first two winners including our daily NAP – our best bet of the day – Fox Norton who battled hard up the hill after a lovely jump at the last. Brando was up next and was never in doubt, picking up the lead 2 furlongs out and running on strongly before being eased down. Finally, it was over to Steve Rogers – the alter ego name of the comic book character Captain America no less – to return from a 6 month absence. We thought he looked very well handicapped over the 2 mile trip at Kempton and he’d won twice at Wolves earlier in his career, and the money poured in for him before the off; our 11/8 tipped price looking great value when he started the race at just 5/6. He was always up by the pace and at the start of the home straight Harry Bentley grabbed a gap up the rail. He hit the front with two furlongs to go and never looked like being passed, winning by over 3 lengths! As well as landing our Lucky 15, we also tipped 12/1 and 20/1 winers last night at Chelmsford!
