“Lengthen The Odds” Promotion With BetVictor

BetVictor have gone one step further for their customers and now offer a “Lengthen The Odds’ promotion for all of their horse racing markets. This is a fun way to bet and you can get crazy odds on your preferred runner to win by a fairly wide winning margin. Let’s give you some examples:

Get Mega Odds On A Favourite

Vatican Hill is currently the 9/4 FAV to land the 6pm at Newcastle. With the “Lengthen The Odds” promotion, you can get much greater odds if you think the horse will win by a decent margin.

  • 5/2 to win by 0.5 lengths or more
  • 7/2 to win by 1 length or more
  • 5/1 to win by 1.5 lengths or more
  • 7/1 to win by 2 lengths or more
  • 10/1 to win by 2.5 lengths or more
  • 14/1 to win by 3 lengths or more
  • 18/1 to win by 3.5 lengths or more
  • 25/1 to win by 4 lengths or more
  • 33/1 to win by 4.5 lengths or more
  • 50/1 to win by 5 lengths or more
  • 100/1 to win by 6 lengths or more
  • 170/1 to win by 7 lengths or more
  • 290/1 to win by 8 lengths or more
  • 650/1 to win by 10 lengths or more

Get Monster Odds On An Outsider

If you fancy a 33/1 shot to run a massive race over the jumps on very heavy ground over a proper stayers’ trip, it is likely that they will be fairly strung out. So why not have a pop on the horse to win by XX lengths or more? Even a 3 length win could bring you in massive returns.

  • 40/1 to win by 0.5 lengths or more
  • 50/1 to win by 1 length or more
  • 66/1 to win by 1.5 lengths or more
  • 100/1 to win by 2 lengths or more
  • 500/1 to win by 5 lengths or more
  • 1,000/1 to win by 10 lengths or more

Where & when is the best time to use this Promotion?

If you think logically about it, jumps’ racing seems the most logical time to use the promotion as there is a greater chance for wide margin winners. The further the distance of the race, the more likely the field will be strung out like the washing. The most ideal scenario is a three mile plus race on soft or heavy ground. In races’ like such, sometimes half the field or more don’t even finish the race so if you are on the right horse, he/she could be a wide margin winner and you could be collecting a lot of cash in the process.

On the flat, obviously a five furlong sprint on fast ground isn’t going to be ideal as a close finish would be expected but there are some flat tracks that could be an exception. An example would be Southwell. The surface is always slow and we often see wide margin winners on the flat there, even over the minimum five furlongs. Usually they get well strung out as not many horses’ take to the surface so punters’ could well be able to gain an edge at Southwell if they play their cards right.

Another great time to use this promotion is when we have a long odds-on favourite in a race. Nobody bar the heavy hitters want to put a fortune on a 1/4 favourite so why not back the horse to win by XX lengths and you may get a decent price in the process? An example would be Thistlecrack who was sent off the 1/8 favourite for a Grade 2 at Newbury earlier in the season. He won by 8 lengths so if you backed him to win by 8 or more lengths, you would have got a much more attractive price.
