Greyhound Clean Sweep!

Another Winner Picture

What a night! Every one of our Greyhound Tips did the business – 77/1 and 19/1 Accas, 11/8 NAP, Next Best and all Singles! Our tipsters have been in scintillating form, last week landing four NAPs, five Next Bests and two Accas, but even by their high standards Wednesday was unbelievable!

How We Did It

Her Lucky Dot (Next Best 7/4) – The first tip of the night came into the race on the back of a highly encouraging effort last time out. With a decent break we fancied her to get back to winning ways and although she beat the favourite by well over 3 lengths we were made to sweat before getting the call in a photo! A close call but we were off and running in both  the Win Acca and Mega Acca.

Frisby Donny (10/3) – Looking at the field we couldn’t see Frisby being taken on for the lead and once this dog is in front he’s incredibly tough to pass. We said in our preview that simply holding recent form would be enough to land the spoils after being well backed to go off at 7/4 he made light work of it running out a most comfortable 2 length winner. 2/2 for the Mega Acca.

Ballinlough Roz (11/8 NAP) – Roz had been on the upgrade and knocking on the door hard recently with some good runs in the book. With that early pace to grab the rail from a nice draw we fancied her to finally bag the win and so it proved, after a decent break our best bet of the evening got an early position and duly obliged by just over a length. NAP landed, 2/2 Win Acca, 3/3 Mega Acca.

Burma Bilko (Next Best 10/11) – Burma qualified for the final with an excellent display for middle pace and his style of running really suits the track. As ever the break was important but even so we fancied his class to shine through. As it happened he pinged out of the traps anyway and simply blew away the opposition on the outside to win by just shy of 3 lengths and 7 lengths ahead of trap 2 4th. Next Best landed, 3/3 Win Acca, 4/4 Mega Acca – we were one way from landing the lot!

Baran Spitfire (8/15) – So it was down to one, the shortest dog of the night. Advised at 8/15 we still felt that the price represented value given the breeding and talent she’d already shown. There wasn’t a moment of worry for followers, the early pace was key and she absolutely demolished the field with her nearest rival nearly 6 lengths back! Clean sweep landed!
