Mark credits his grandfather for his love of racing. 'In 1997 he put a couple of quid on the Gold Cup for me, Mr Mulligan and Tony McCoy duly obliged at 20/1 and I was hooked!' Naturally, the jumps are his forte and in the past his knowledge has been put to good use by running successful tipster services. Mark's local racecourse is Haydock Park and his favourite horses of all time include Silviniaco Conti, Sprinter Sacre and the Donald McCain trained Overturn.
